I recently used 1-800-Pack-Rat for a cross-country move, and overall had a good experience with them so I wanted to share some of the things that I did to make sure everything went as smooth as possible.

While most moving companies can say the same, this is still something that shouldn’t be overlooked. Be aware of this when booking, and be sure to follow up around a week ahead of your move date to be sure of your reservation.
