About. Our mission is to prepare PAs to provide compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care as members of interprofessional teams. The graduates will be culturally sensitive, committed to continuous learning and professional development, and make significant contributions to communities and the advancement of the PA profession.
The Northwestern University PA Program curriculum is 24 months in duration and consists of 108 credit hours of coursework culminating in a Master of Medical Science degree. There are 23 required courses in the first year of the program.
The Northwestern PA program encourages students to be self-directed, curious learners, so beginning to think in this manner prior to PA school will set you up for success not only as a Northwestern PA student, but as a practicing PA as well!
