26 sie 2012 · Removing the Firing Pin Position Pin (FPPP) on the Sig Sauer Classic line (P220, P226, P229, P239) can be a little tricky. If your Sig has a roll FPPP, it is best to remove it with a roll pin punch. Or, if your pistol has a knurled/convex type FPPP, a cup pin punch is required.

24 mar 2013 · The Sig Sauer P239 should ideally be carried with a round chambered and the hammer down. As others have mentioned, after you chamber a round, simply use the de-cocker lever to safely put the hammer back down.
