4 cze 2016 · In a P-synchronous pacing mode, PVARP should be extended to include retrograde P wave if VA conduction is present to avoid pacemaker-mediated tachycardia (PMT, also referred to as endless-loop tachycardia; see “Pacemaker-mediated tachycardia”). Appropriate PVARP programming is also important to reduce tracking of atrial arrhythmias.
Standard dual-chamber pacing is used when the sinus mode is intact, but AV conduction impaired. Sinus activity is sensed and will trigger ventricular pacing following a programmed AV delay (p-synchronous pacing).
Asynchronous pacing is rarely used but it can be useful when there is insufficient intrinsic cardiac activity but extensive disturbances (which would otherwise inhibit pacing). Then asynchronous pacing is suitable because it stimulates at a fixed rate and ignores the signals of the surrounding.
21 cze 2015 · If an atrial sensed event is faster than the LRL without an intrinsic ventricular event, the pacemaker inhibits atrial pacing but triggers ventricular pacing (P-synchronous pacing) after a predetermined AV delay (Figure 34-1, D).
5 lis 2024 · In this study, we analyzed for the first time the specific behavior of Micra AV devices during standardized exercise. We assessed the evolution of AV synchrony during a maximal cycle exercise test and characterized the accelerometer signal component amplitudes and timing during exercise.
12 gru 2022 · Post-procedural pacing checks showed sinus rhythm with no intrinsic ventricular rhythm over VVI at 30 b.p.m. The existing functional atrial lead from the right-sided device had a satisfactory threshold (0.75 V at 0.4 ms), impedance (418 Ω), and p-wave amplitude (3.3 mV).
1 lis 1992 · The AVI is initiated, and if no ventricular activity is sensed before the AVI terminates, a ventricular pacing artifact is delivered; P-synchronous pacing. and only after this interval has timed out can an atrial event be sensed.
