I've never used the Ozark Trail brand packs but I do know I've never used one of their tents and been dry the whole time, I would definitely recommend a better quality tent. I found mine on FB for $50, it was a ultralight NorthFace tent!
So... if you are an occasional camper, or buying this for a young camper, that is really rough on equipment, there are better choices out there than the Ozark Trail 43 oz Ultralight Backpacking Tent. Using my cheap 6-person Ozark Trail tent I got in ‘07 and a $9 bag. So glad I have my camping buddy to keep me company. It was a rough night with lots of noise/drama at surrounding campsites, but this guy kept me chill.

As with all budget tents, you’ll find Ozark Trail tents are heavier, more cumbersome and generally less durable than more expensive options. Which means that if you’re planning to camp once or twice a year in fair weather, they could be a great choice for you.
29 kwi 2022 · Rating and Summary. The Ozark Trail 10-Person Cabin Tent is my least expensive tent for the size, and it even comes with a gear loft and room divider. Plus, there’s tons of livable space inside this Ozark Trail Tent, and I couldn’t even reach the top! But you do get what you pay for though.
