2 wrz 2023 · The 72nd annual West Jefferson Ox Roast will take place on Labor Day weekend. This year's highlights include the first ever "Ox Idol" competition and "TBD: The Improvised Musical!". The festival will also include several eating contests, live entertainment, food vendors, crafts and commercial vendors, and of course, the famous Ox Roast sandwiches.
7 wrz 2016 · Along with all the contests and competitions, rides, games, arts and crafts, and live entertainment, the West Jefferson Ox Roast Festival has 5,000 pounds of ox roasted in a 120 foot long pit.
