(~50GB extra download). you can access this by going to Bnet Launcher > Diablo IV > press gear icon beside the Play button > Modify Install > Game Content - Modify Install > Check the “High-Resolution Assets” > Confirm > Update. but keep your texture quality at Medium if you play on 1080p after install. -OR- try to use VPN if you have one ...
If anyone still has this issue, it is possible that there is some f*ckery going on when it comes to connecting to the Diablo 4's download servers (as other bnet games seem to be doing just fine) and capping your download speed (in bnet settings) to your max download speed or, maybe lower than that, should help.
