Roasting crookneck squash enhances its natural sweetness and brings out a rich, caramelized flavor. Simply toss it with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then roast it in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 15-20 minutes until golden and tender.
Bake for 20 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or until the crookneck squash is tender and mashes slightly when pressed with a spoon. The timing for slices will be closer to 20 to 30 minutes.
