Finally, I figure out a work around using the rules in Outlook. Below are step by step instructions for the rule I created for an out of office reply to be sent on Tuesdays. I did test this and it did work. This will only work as a weekly re-occurrence.

I already have most of the code written to check for any ongoing meetings that would enable and disable the Out of Office when the meetings start / end. This way we can setup a reoccuring meeting everyday at 5pm to turn on the OOF message and at 4am to disable it. This will also work with All Day Events (such as Holidays).

30 sty 2024 · Disable and then re-enable the OOF feature by using the following commands: Set-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration \<identity> -AutoReplyState Disabled Set-MailboxAutoReplyConfiguration \<identity> -AutoReplyState Enabled.
