11 lis 2021 · My iPhone 6 (with software updated to IOS 12.5.5, which it says is up to date) has stopped recognising my outlook account. I deleted and re-installed the account (the advice in another thread) to no avail.
6 maj 2020 · I've updated the device to the latest iOS, switched it off/on deleted the account from the app and tried to reinstall it. Nothing. I could add a Gmail account, but it doesn't want to know about Outlook. I've tried Apple support, but they say it's an Outlook issue.

You can do this by going to the Microsoft account security page and following the steps to reset your password. Another possible solution is to check if your Apple device is running the latest version of iOS and if the Outlook app is up to date.

16 gru 2021 · The issue is that Microsoft mail accounts (outlook and hotmail) do not authenticate on IOS within the IOS mail accounts. I do not know what is happening with the outlook app which is different than the Microsoft mail acoounts accessible via the IOS mail.
