In Spain Ouigo works significantly better than the rest, always clean with nicer bar and newer trains. I’m a regular on the Madrid Barcelona like and today experienced the first delay of 30 minutes- by the time I got home an apology was waiting in my email as well as 50% refund for the ticket.
25 sty 2023 · There are three main options. The booking platform Trainline is the easiest option for getting tickets for Ouigo. The website is functional and hassle-free, and the routing engine is the best overall for Europe (meaning, it finds smarter, cheaper train routes).
Ouigo and Avlo are low cost alternatives to 'ordinary' trains and are fine. Like the low cost airlines , they have restrictions but no real problems. Of course, they do not cover the whole Spanish rail network so you may have to mix and match.

23 sty 2024 · Hi there, can anyone offer any feedback on Ouigo? I am looking at travelling from Alicante to Madrid via them, I am aware they're are considered lower cost compared to RENFE and I would assume lower in quality, however can anyone advise of they are reliable, punctual etc?
