History of the Ridge - Otis Ridge. Milestones. 1946. 1st Year of Operation; 2 Portable Rope Tows in tandem ran up the hill where the T-Bar is now located. The Ridge Run was the first and only trail during this 1st ski season. 1947. The Meadow Tow and Meadow Slope was added off of Judd Road with a small warming hut provided. 1948.

It first opened in 1946 with two surface lifts and a single trail and continues to operate to this day, currently with one double chair and three surface lifts: a pony tow, a handle tow, and a T-bar.
