I need about 2800 gold ores to smelt for 59 smithing to complete Ardy med. Currently this nets me about ~300 gold ore/hour so I'd need 10 hours to get all ores required. Does anyone know a better way to get gold ores quick without buying from BF?

You will only end up losing around 18,000 chaos runes for 62 Crafting. If using chaos runes and Karamja gloves to earn Tokkul it is a 4:1 ratio for chaos runes to sapphires. This method can reliably earn around 40,000–50,000 Crafting experience per hour and produces usable items as opposed to other training methods.

Howdy all, I've just started my GoTR grind, gone from 27-44 RC so far. Pretty early days but I've got the mechanics etc down now and I'm looking for some advice on how to maximise my outcomes. I've been following the wiki method and my best run so far was ~350 points in each cata/ele but I'm usually sitting 250-300.
