Iron pickaxe is scenery found in the Chambers of Xeric that is used to provide an item spawn of an iron pickaxe. The spawn can be found in Guardian rooms. It has the appearance of an item including an orange name and red dot on the minimap, but unlike normal item spawns does not disappear after being picked up.

10. Iron Pickaxe. While this isn’t a great pickaxe, if you want to start mining you will need to start using the iron pickaxe – as it’s available from level 1 Mining and much better than the alternative, the bronze pickaxe.
