Players can predict which special Nex will use at the start of Shadow phase based on the last special Nex used during Smoke phase. If Nex last used Choke, the first special Nex will use is Embrace darkness! so players should not run in with melee.
Discussion. After calculating dps for every mob at CoX I decided to do the same at Nex. I chose a few different gear switches including Shadow, Masori, ZCB/ely/buckler/armadyl, for each comparison. At the top of each mob I added a "TLDR" where dps with gear is posted for each mob.
Is nex mass worth doing in budget gear or will the low damage output make it nearly impossible to get a drop? I’m using dragon crossbow, ruby bolts, blessed dhide, archers ring, fury, and a crystal shield.
