Nine of the 11 systems were set up to enable auto-querying, and auto-querying was associated with a significant increase in the monthly rate of exchange (P = .006 for change in trend).
1 lut 2020 · This paper aims at understanding how the use of HIE can be shaped by organization-specific factors such as trust, power, organizational culture, and leadership, especially when participating in bundled payment initiatives. The study was based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with hospital administrators.
Results: Key themes that emerged include the importance of both central decision-making as well as local innovation, the multiple and complex challenges of broad HIE adoption, and the varying role of HIE across different national health system structures.
