8 lut 2022 · On a personal level, Orion is certainly going to be my next default browser on every Mac that can run it (it currently supports Mac OS 10.14 and higher, but there are plans to make it work on Mac OS 10.13 too).
We live in a privacy-disrespecting browser world where Orion”s zero telemetry is such big news, on the market dominated by ad-supported browsers. Luckily it can easily be verified by anyone with a simple network proxy.
I know this is an old thread but there's way more Firefox and Chrome extensions than iOS safari extensions, most of which are free and you don't have to add an additional app to your device to use them on Orion. Also Kiwi browser and Firefox on android both support extensions and going from android to iOS this was a massive sore point for me.
27 paź 2023 · A couple of months ago, I tried using Orion Browser, by Kagi, as my main web browser on macOS. Orion is based on WebKit, just like Safari, and it looks a lot like Safari as well. However, it is supercharged with extra features, and most notably supports Chrome and Firefox extensions.

Orion Browser Beta review. So I tried the Orion browser beta for a week and its been an average experience. Its pretty much identical to safari with iCloud integration and its pretty fast and lightweight.The main advantage of Orion is that it can support both Firefox and Chrome extensions.
