23 cze 2014 · When I try to load a save in oblivion, the save gets to the loading screen but does not load and then it crashes! I made a discussion on this before but no one really replied to it. I really want a fix to this.
21 gru 2019 · I can't load any saves near this locations, and my previous save slot before this was a good 30 hours of gameplay away. Tried running it in windowed, fullscreen and disabiling visual screen effects, and nothing works. I even tried with the Oblivion Unoffical Patch but it still doesn't work.
A solution someone said worked was to disable OneDrive sync for oblivion and to make sure your saves are in the default save location, [C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves], and make sure the .ini reflects that.
22 cze 2024 · Locate your saves folder and block move the bulk of your saves to another folder (unique name) or dump into the recycling bin. Another possibility is that the game cannot find your saves folder. This can happen with one drive. Oblivion is an old game made well before one-drive and before duel drives were common.
i downloaded the deadly reflex mod, i check the boxes in data files . When i go to load and choose my save file the game keeps playing the music but is stuck on an eternal loading screen.
If you want, you could move the Data folder to a temporary location. Then run the Setup from the disc and see if Oblivion auto-repairs. If it repairs itself, it will make a new Data folder...
Edit: I solved the problem by firstly adding a new folder next to the oblivion_default.ini file called Saves. Then I had to turn off onedrive backing of my documents. It did not solve other problems I had but now I could save my game perfectly fine.
