Oblivion Data Folder . The Data folder is the directory to which mods are installed. After installing Oblivion, you will find in here a few BSAs containing most of the game's resources (i.e., meshes, textures and sound files) as well as some of the default folders: Shaders, Music and Video.
To install mods there, find the OBMM folder on your computer and find the folder labeled Mods (iirc) and then drop the archive in there. Then, when you go to your OBMM you will see the mod, labeled with a red mark to show its not installed.
14 wrz 2008 · They are located in "Oblivion-Meshes.bas" and "Oblivion-Textures-Compressed.bsa". These two files should be located in your oblivion data folder. If you use OBMM, you can go to Utilities - BSA Browser and then open the .bsa's and extract the textures and meshes.
"Data Files" is the mod directory of esm/esp/bsa, textures, meshes, Flash or STRINGS files, such as Skyrim.esm, Dawnguard.esm (Official Plug-ins), textures and meshes, etc. This directory location is, for example in Windows 7 64bits default settings:

I've gotten this far with installing a mod. I've extracted it, saved it, but I can't figure out where the oblivion data files are and how to get into them. It's probably simple, but I have no idea where to open it up so I can paste the mod into it. Please Help?
