I just picked up a ham khaki 42 for under 400 new, but a really good quality automatic or mechanical watch for under 250, I think seiko 5 or orient got that market, some times you may score a tissot on a huge sale for that amount

I’ve always found Orient very versatile – they look great on leather as a dress watch, but also tend to dress down fairly well on a NATO.
