5 kwi 2022 · I use 1 package of Oregon's Raspberry puree in my Raz-a-Rita wine for a 3 gallon batch and by year 2 the raspberry flavor dominates the Limes. I have 3 packages of the Dark Sweet Cherry and thought about making a Cherry-Rita since I'm sitting on 12 cups of pure fresh frozen ripen lime juice for this years Raz-a-Rita.
11 wrz 2010 · I'm making one gallon of cherry wine using a can of Oregon fruit puree. I just racked it for the first time this morning and lost a lot due to a good portion being sludge-like. Is this typical or is there a way to get more wine out of the primary?
Always use the fruit purees in the primary or secondary fermenter. Never boil the purees. Add 10-15% less puree as you would fruit. One 49 oz. can will make 1 gallon of fruit wine. 1 49 oz. can per 6 US Gallons Of Wine or 5 Gallons of Beer. Adjust to your liking or favorite recipe!
4 gru 2010 · Use a mesh bag to put your fruit in. Most people will buy 5 gallon paint strainer bags from HomeDepot or Lowes. Then squeeze the fruit daily and/or sanitize a drill mounted paint stirrer and used that to chop up the fruit, then pour into a mesh bag.
