17 maj 2014 · Have to replace O2 sensor and the code I am given is Bank 2 Sensor 2. Where is this sensor located? The dealership didn't even know because they call them front upstream/downstream and same for rear.
14 lis 2011 · Checked it myself - cylinder 2 is on drivers side of vehicle - which I am told translates to bank 2. Therefore, sensor 2, bank 2 is furthest downstram from engine and on drivers side for a 3.8 liter.
13 mar 2019 · This code typically indicates that there is an issue with the wiring or harness going to the sensor, or the sensor itself is bad. There are other things that cause P0157 to populate. We’ll cover those below. Bank 2 refers to the side of the engine with Cylinder 2 in the firing order.
18 mar 2019 · The code is triggered when: The voltage at the O2 sensor remains above threshold for 20 seconds or more. Voltage to the sensor is to high (wiring problem, think short) Bad O2 sensor itself. There are also some less likely problems that can cause P0158. We’ll discuss them below.

12 sty 2019 · P0161 is a very common OBDII code that occurs in the Jeep Wrangler. It is typically caused by a failure in one of the elements that heat the oxygen sensors, specifically bank 2 sensor 2. Replacing the Oxygen sensor will fix the problem a majority of the time.
24 mar 2021 · I only replaced Bank 2 sensor 2. The plug sockets the o2 wires plug into. I think the consensus is to change at least in pairs, that's like only changing 2 spark plugs or one tire! "The P0161 code means that the O2 sensor heater circuit is shorted or open.
