Problem Solved (hopefully!), Connected the Optimate 3 SP. directly to the Battery Terminals using the "Crocodile" clamps and Bingo, amber test / charging light comes up. Disconnected again and put my meter across the Male terminal pins in the Battery side of the "stay in place" wiring loom and found 13.46 volts.
