I’m currently running Minecraft 1.20.2 with Forge version 48.0.33. I want to install shaders, so I’ve been looking into using Optifine. However, the latest version of Optifine I found is for Minecraft 1.20.1 and it recommends Forge 47.0.35.
Download and install Minecraft Forge for the version you want. Follow the instructions at Downloading. Open your Downloads folder in a file manager. From here on, process depends on your OS: Note.
