For some reason, the installer gets stuck on a number of Windows machines, both old and new. We are trying to find this problem but there is a workaround: Quit the installer when it gets stuck and immediately re-run it.
5 lis 2018 · I've had a few reports of crashes with the OpenSceneryX installer, particularly on Windows. I want to find out whether these are a few isolated cases or a more widespread problem, as I can't replicate it on the two Windows 10 or the Windows 8.1 machines I have.
5 lis 2018 · Now stuck on another file, ran it a number of times of the course of a few days here. I've just released a new version of the installer that hopefully fixes this issue. If you are suffering from hangs during install, try the new version from www.opensceneryx.com .

5 lis 2018 · I'm on Mac ( osx 12.3.1 on Macbook Pro M1) and it's completely impossible to install OpenSceneryX, the installer hangs after installing a few files, randomly between 4 and 40 files, and nothing makes it work.
OpenSceneryX now exports seasonal regions compatible with core X-Plane, the Four Seasons plugin, the TerraMaxx plugin and the xAmbience plugin. Seasonal support is optional and can be chosen on install.
9 maj 2019 · We’ll occasionally send you account related emails. As reported here and here, the installer can hang and stop downloading. Investigate this. It is possible that the sockFile is timing out, but this leaves pSockFileWorking set to true, so the thread never triggers another download.
