The OpenKJ Project is a collection of applications and services intended to make life easier for karaoke DJs. Most of the programs and web services are things that were originally written by the creator of OpenKJ, Isaac Lightburn, for use at his own karaoke shows which were later released to the public.
This site is a searchable database of available mp3+g and mp4 karaoke files as well as legacy CD+G tracks. The current download catalogs from Party Tyme, Karaoke-Version, Sunfly, SBI (including Abraxa & Aaron Aardvark), Zoom, and DigiTrax are automatically updated daily.
Double-click the downloaded installer file, which will install OpenKJ on your PC or laptop. Ensure that you have a songs DB folder that you can point to (such as c:\karaoke); that folder should contain all the songs you're legally allowed to play.
