Program OpenIV służy do modyfikacji większości plików gier GTA IV, Episodes from Liberty City (EFLC) oraz Max Payne 3. W OpenIV istnieją dwa sposoby na otwieranie archiwów z teksturami oraz modelami. Po uruchomieniu programu, po lewej stronie znajduje się drzewo ze strukturą katalogów danej gry, w naszym przypadku będzie to GTA IV.
