The last scene of 'Open Water' has to be one of the most depressing, haunting endings I've ever seen. I have mixed feelings about the remainder of the film, but I'll never forget how the very last scene made me feel and it will always stay with me. The silent surrender to the vast ocean, knowing nobody will find her.
