This document provides a visual presentation of Western’s online Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) and QEII Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST) Application. As applicants progress within the application, they may save and continue the application at any time.
The Introduction page gives a brief overview of the Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) program, lays out the eligibility conditions that each applicant must satisfy in order to proceed, and lists the components that each applicant must complete in order to finalize and submit an application.
1 lut 2024 · If you are applying to any of our History graduate programs, and you are a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, Indigenous Person (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) or Protected Person (as of the History OGS application deadline, February 1, 2024), you are eligible to ask to be considered for an Ontario Graduate Scholarship.
An OGS is a full year award and therefore can only be offered to an applicant who has at least three (3) full terms of eligibility remaining as of their intended award start date. OGS support for the 5th year of a 4-year Ph.D. is an exception only and requires SGPS approval.
17 paź 2022 · Application Procedure: Applications are available through the graduate studies offices of eligible Ontario institutions (links can be found on the OGS page). Each university has its own unique application that should be available in October, however, this may vary by institution.
Start date. Successful OGS and QEII-GSST recipients will begin their scholarship during 2025-2026. The allowable start terms are spring 2025, fall 2025 or winter 2026. Duration. Awards are granted for up to one year in duration and are non-renewable. Applicants must apply annually in order to be considered.
