On the AUX and TUNER inputs there is a slight noise that comes equally through both channels. It is audible from about 6 feet from the speakers and is not affected by the volume knob.

Replacing the fuse may have created a new path taking out the right channel. This could indicate a shorted transistor(s) in the left channel. Worth a try.
