The Denon seems to be muddy, whereas Onkyo has a clearer sound, which makes movie dialogues much better. I also have an Onkyo TX-NR7100 which is better than the NR6050 (especially room correction), albeit almost double in price and the sound is comparable.

This Onkyo blows the Denon out of water. Dual zone , 2 hdmi outputs , 20% more power , much better user interface and menus. It’s really a no brainer for an extra 50 bucks.

10 paź 2022 · Looking at the Onkyo TX-NR6100 at $700 looked like a great deal compared to the Denon AVR-X2800H for $500 more. Well I stumbled onto the Onkyo TX-NR6050 which is really a TX-NR6100 minus the THX feature for an amazing $440! I've never used THX sound features so I wouldn't had with the TX-NR6100.
