21 lis 2022 · Attached onedrive files won't open when emailed. When I attach a file from OneDrive to an email, the recipient can't open the file. If I attach a link to the file, they can open it. They get the message "We can't open this file. Something went wrong, Refresh". Hit "Refresh" and the message repeats.

10 gru 2021 · I want to attach files from OneDrive to emails in Outlook. When I open the attainments function, OneDrive is not available. This happens in both Mac and Windows operating systems. I have to copy the files to a OneDrive listed in my Finder (Explorer), then attach the copied files.
8 lip 2020 · Normally, for adding attachment in the email, you could click the paper clip button and choose Attach File, it will open the interface in Outlook client and you could choose the files in OneDrive. Base on this, I think the issue may be caused by the Outlook client.

If you do not like the default attaching behavior for files stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, you can luckily choose from 3 options; Ask me how I want to attach them every time. Always share them as links. Always share them as copies. You can set this option via; File-> Options-> General-> Attachment options
If the attachment sender used OneDrive or another cloud storage option, any changes you make to the attachment are automatically saved. If the sender didn't use a cloud storage option, use the drop-down arrow to the right of the attachment and choose Save to OneDrive.

20 sie 2019 · Users on Microsoft 365 Semi Annual Channel are not able to attach Modern Attachments from OneDrive or SharePoint to emails. Instead of the attachment getting attached, the user gets an error dialog: "Cannot find this file. Verify the path and file name are correct." STATUS: FIXED.
