Summer Visual Art Academy is an intensive visual arts program for students from grades 6–12. Our faculty of professional Alaskan visual artists will teach classes in Cartooning, Ceramics, Craft of Sewing, Digital Design, Drawing and Design, Metalsmithing, Painting/Mixed Media, Photography, and Printmaking.

Students enrolled in art studio classes are provided technical skills and access to facilities required to create fine art in varied disciplines in diverse media.
26 maj 2020 · Students in grades 6-12 can register to receive instructor guidance, participate in class discussions, attend optional bi-weekly zoom meetings, and have their artwork included in the online gallery. Anyone is welcome to follow along with the lessons.
The Art Department will host the 14th annual Summer Visual Art Academy June 4-15 for students from grades 6 to 12. Full-day academy students choose four classes, and half-day students choose two classes to participate in.
