16 sie 2024 · OMNY caps your weekly fares at $34 when you tap the same card or device for every ride. Your first tap starts a new seven-day cap. If you spend $34 within seven days, you ride free for the rest of the cap period. If you spend less, you only pay for the rides you take.
Start any day and $34 (or $17 for Reduced-Fare customers) is the most you’ll pay. Once you’ve hit 12 paid trips in a 7-day period, the rest of your rides of the same week will automatically be free. You must use the same payment method for each individual trip to reach the cap.
Plan to use OMNY for all of us and pay thru the same contactless credit card. I read it basically charges for 12 rides and then all rides are free for that week till Sunday. This is what I read on the OMNY website - You are limited to tapping and paying for yourself and 3 additional riders with the same payment method at a single OMNY reader.
26 wrz 2024 · You can now use your registered contactless debit or credit card, or smart device to pay the reduced fare. And subway and local bus transfers are still free with OMNY. If you registered with your contactless card, you're all set to tap and go.
