30 sty 2024 · VF-1 is exclusively for the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 17mm F2.8 lens. Electronic Viewfinder cannot be used with an accessory mounted on the hot shoe. Viewfinders cannot be mounted on the camera because there is no accessory port. Please update the firmware version of the camera.
23 paź 2018 · The VF-2 is an old model that was also suitable for some Leica cameras. Current model is the VF-4.
9 maj 2013 · Can the VF-2, suggested for use on the XZ-1, also be fully usable, and functional on the Oly E-PL2 as well? I currently have both cameras and would like NOT to have to purchase 2 EVFs. The LCD on one XZ-1 seems a bit more usable and reliable under sunny conditions, than that on my E-PL2.
12 wrz 2011 · The VF-2's image magnification is 1.15x versus the VF-3's 1.00x, and the VF-2 has a slightly longer eyepoint of 18mm versus 17.4mm on the VF-3. In other words, the larger, older VF-2 has higher resolution, a bigger image and can be used with the eye a little further from the eyepiece.
18 gru 2015 · I've been happy enough with the VF-2 from Olympus. I was not about to pay the Leica price on this one, not when there was zero functional difference. If it was a higher resolution EVF, sure I'd consider it.

29 lis 2009 · When you buy the Olympus E-P2 for $1,099, it's included in the kit with the 14-42mm lens. Now that doesn't mean that you have to use the electronic viewfinder to take pictures. When it's not mounted, the camera behaves as you would expect. The 3-inch, 230,000 dot LCD lights up ready for you to compose your shot.
