23 paź 2007 · This motor is "on-demand" cylinder displacement, will run on two cylinders at low speed and run on 4 cylinders at higher rpm's. Any sugestions or comments. Thanks.
27 lut 2009 · Agent, we bought a Bayliner Capri 19' bowrider with a 125 hp Force in 1987 and used it for 11 summers and it never failed us as opposed to timebandit's comment. The engine always started and ran, but I was unable to get it to run slowly comfortably.
You’ve had your boat out for a few trips and lately you have begun noticing a slight power loss in the upper RPM range – above 4000 RPM – yet when you throttle back the engine and cruise at lower engine speed it runs fine.
The outboard motor must be raised and lowered using power tilt and trim systems. Low hydraulic fluid levels, a clogged hydraulic fluid filter, or a broken hydraulic pump could all be the cause of the system’s dysfunction. Inspect and replace these parts as necessary.
22 lip 2012 · Maybe a float that is slightly stuck causing an issue at low speed? If it sat that long with fuel in the system, you may want to replace all fuel lines and filter as well. Place in a 10 micron water separator/fuel filter
10 lis 2023 · Some of the common causes include dirty fuel filters, clogged carburetors, fouled spark plugs, water in the fuel system, or a faulty fuel pump. In some cases, air leaks or incorrect adjustments in the idle speed screw or carburetor may also result in a rough idle.
17 lut 2014 · I had the same motor on my first RIB - as the wizzos on here have said, its a very abrubt jump from 2 to 4, quite weird to handle and a pain in speed restricted areas.
