15 kwi 2024 · The LG OLED G4 seems to be having a significant issue with HDMI2 (eARC). Connecting external video sources to HDMI2 (which work on the other the other 3 HDMIs) do not produce an image (but you can hear sound).
23 maj 2024 · I run all sources to my amp and then to HDMI 2 on my G4 , but it’s broken the picture is scrambled . All other HDMI ports work fine . THIS ONLY AFFECTS HDMI 2 VIDEO SIGNLS AFTER USING INTERNAL APPS. IF YOU DONT USE HDMI 2 TO RECEIVE A VIDEO SIGNAL DO NOT VOTE , THANKS.
20 kwi 2011 · I have a 77" LG G4 and I have no problems with HDMI2 (Sony ht-a7000 soundbar). However my problem, where the Apple TV becomes non responsive (freezes and not image or sound, the TV shows "no signal", there is nothing connected) is with the HDM1 3 and 4 (I haven't tried others).
1 cze 2024 · It's not an eARC issue - it's a very specific G4 problem of video into a TV HDMI being distorted, most commonly HDMI 2 which is the port an AVR or soundbar needs to be connected to.
I'm having the same issues on my HDMI port 2 via eARC. I thought it was the Samsung Q990D HDMI cable that came with it, as changing this has fixed it for me. But sounds like a widespread issue with the ports in general.
