4 kwi 2021 · The old C series were great subs though. Very popular circle 1990-1995 or so. Efficient, liked large enclosures. I ran 4 of the C15's circa 1991, each with 3 cubes in a wall of my extra cab Toyota 4x4. Ran all 4 off a series VII Hifonics Boltar. 900 watts or so, and they were impressive.
24 wrz 2011 · I was browsing local kijiji for a while now to try and find an old school Kicker KS80 substation. One finally popped up and it was in mint condition. Seller was asking $75 bucks, so I offered $40 bucks and he accepted.

Simply adding a DSP power pack like the kicker key 200.4 would give you a great signal with time alignment, center imaging and eq correction while also giving those KS the power they are craving for a relatively affordable price.
In the trunk, you would notice the two subwoofers in the middle of the trunk facing upwards with the amps placed further inside the trunk (also facing upwards). Both the subs and the maps are flush with the surface of the enclosure which is carpeted to match the trunk interior. Subs are protected by a metal grille.
