AIM (AOL Instant Messenger, sometimes stylized as aim) was an instant messaging and presence computer program created by AOL, which used the proprietary OSCAR instant messaging protocol and the TOC protocol to allow registered users to communicate in real time.
21 cze 2008 · In this situation you need an older version of AIM Express. The previous version is still available and will run on older setups or more locked down environments. As you can see there are no system requirements and the Browser requirements are pretty easy to match on most systems.
4 sie 2023 · NINA now has support for ICQ up to version 6 and the iOS and Android AIM apps, allowing you to chat in a retro fashion on your smartphone. Their launch of AOL Desktop is soon. They're about $260 behind on hosting due to some issues, so if you'd like to chip in $5 for beta access, you won't regret it..
8 cze 2023 · On December 15, 2017, AIM was discontinued. While the instant messaging platform is no longer around, AOL's mail service, sometimes called AIM Mail but officially AOL Mail, is alive and well. You can log in to AIM Mail here using your old AIM username or full AOL email address.
