The Oklahoma Higher Education Heritage Society (OHEHS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Oklahoma higher education and promoting a philosophy of higher education heritage. The 2024 Hall of Fame inductees have been announced. Learn more.
Hall of Fame. The 30th annual Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held on November 4, 2024, at the University of Central Oklahoma in the Nigh University Center. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and includes a silent auction, music, and a cash bar.
Free Field Trips. We provide free field trips to all Oklahoma schools and daycare centers throughout the year. The Free Field Trip program includes: Free admission to the Museum for students, teachers, and two chaperones per 10 students. A reimbursed fuel stipend of $5.00 per-student in attendance.
For nearly 50 years, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame has been making higher education possible for Oklahoma students! Each spring, students in grades 9-12 test their knowledge of Oklahoma's history through the Oklahoma Scholarship Competition to earn cash scholarships or tuition grants.
