4 lut 2019 · I have a 2016 1.6hdi blue100 with oil pooling around injectors then running down past the oil filter on to the floor. Seems to be a lot of it but the oil level is fine. Running fine with no warning lights. Any ideas where it could be coming from or how to fix it? Thanks
12 wrz 2015 · Unless really bad this type of leak is very difficult to find, engine needs to be cleaned and leak detection fluid sprayed around the area. This dries to a white powder and shows up any leak as a damp patch.
22 lut 2015 · Re: 1.6 hdi oil leak between cylinder head and cam carrier. by RichardW » Wed Mar 11, 2015 9:27 pm. That's how it's supposed to be fitted. Use a small bead of RTV silicone all the way around - you need to go across some of the inner webs as well, and around the injector holes AFAIK.
12 mar 2022 · Hi, my hdi has an oil leak at the back of the engine that is small but leaking on to the exhaust and causing burnt oil fumes in the vehicle, I took it to the garage and they tell me I am best going to a Peugeot specialist as it is above the manifold and not easy to get at.
