25 sty 2021 · Hi, I have a 2014 ML 350 Bluetec. I have noticed a fluid leak under my driveway near the front of the engine in the last week coming from the slot in the center front of the belly pan. Checking the front of the engine, I have fluid on left and bottom of the noise damper (see pictures).
3 lip 2016 · Took it to a reputable Audi/VW shop near me for diagnosis and I was informed that my car is leaking oil from the camshaft cover on top of the motor. This oil trickles down and unfortunately causes the water pump seal to swell, which can sometimes damage the pump and create the mess that I have.
18 lut 2022 · Good Morning all. I took my E350 (2015 4MATIC) to the stealership for a NYSI. Long story short I get a call back saying that they have detected an oil leak coming from the Cam Covers and quoted me $1,700. 1. Is this a common problem on a vehicle with 39,000 Miles? 2. Can this be easily fixed by a DIY if I order the parts.
27 mar 2015 · 2.0T oil seepage front of engine. I have an appointment for service to look at an oil seepage/leak on the front right side of the engine cover near what I think is the water pump. The oil sell is noticeable when idling and the car is hot.
4 kwi 2012 · I've been fixing a bunch of oil leaks (both cam caps + crank seal) and I have one remaining at the back of the engine. Basically, the oil is dripping down onto the sway bar. Any idea what the culprit is? I'm thinking maybe the lower block gasket or even the rear crank seal.
11 paź 2016 · I have been dealing with a oil leak for quite some time now, oil seeping from what appears to be around the cam sensor.
21 paź 2015 · It can't be a terribly bad leak since I haven't noticed the oil level to drop or any burning smells. Wondering if I can save myself the $500-600 for the repair without damaging anything, and for how long.
