26 sie 2023 · Problem: -- Can run all day long at mid 3,000RPM to low 4,000 RPM range with no issues. Engine runs like a champ. -- When going WOT, after 10 to 30 seconds, it will start to lose power - and it loses power rather quickly. -- If I back off to a lower RPM range, all is fine.
21 maj 2020 · My 2013 F300xca Yamaha with 500 hours was running fine until I had the marina mechanic provide a 100 hour service. He changed the oil, gear oil and plugs. The stern bilge fuel filter/water separator was also replaced. On the first day out, the engine lost power 3 times on a 2 hour run.
9 maj 2011 · Re: Help - Yamaha 2 stroke oil reservoir issue. There is a small in-line oil filter mounted on the remote reservoir tank, and is the likely culprit if the pump is operating correctly. It is in-expensive and easy to fix yourself. It won't show any obvious signs of being clogged.
