If you go to Ohio State (or are going), you're gonna have to aim for the top 25% or so at least to have a good chance heading into OCI for an Ohio mid-law or large law firm. Top 10% or so may get you a shot at a Chicago or NY firm but there are no guarantees.
Ohio has a pretty good legal market for being Ohio — you have Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati. OSU has a decent amount of alumni in Chicago too. If you’re not sure if you’d like to live in either Florida, Ohio, or Louisiana then I’d retake & reapply.
