GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for helping the Treasurer/CFO in overseeing the entire financial operations of the district, the accuracy and timeliness of all state and federal reporting, assist in providing oversight to Treasurer department staff in the daily functions of the office.
JOB GOAL: To record and maintain all business of the Board of Education; be custodian and control disbursement of school monies; assist in preparing annual budget; keep Board informed of all monetary and correspondence activities.

Overview of Treasurer and Business Office Responsibilities (10 hours) Role and relationship with superintendent and other administrators. General purpose financial statements, cash reporting. Board secretary-minutes and role at board meetings. Member of administrative team/role with policy team.
