The Office of the Registrar supports students, alumni, faculty, and staff. We are responsible for: Class enrollment & registration; Fee assessment; Verification of registration & graduation; Diplomas and transcripts; Preservation & privacy of student records; Berkeley Academic Guide and Class Schedule; Reservations for 200+ classrooms
UC Berkeley can notarize your official transcripts, verification documents, or diplomas. For diplomas, you must provide a photocopy to notarize. The processing fee is $15 per document for this service.
Registering at Berkeley consists of two steps: Enrolling in classes. Paying your bill. (Note: You need to pay at least 20% of your bill by the Friday before instruction begins or you will be dropped from your courses. For more information, read the Cancel for Non Payment Policy.)
