Update keyboard driver. Use this method if you suspect the keyboard driver may be outdated or corrupted. Right-click the Start button, and select Device Manager. Expand the Keyboards section. Right-click your HP keyboard listing, and choose Update driver. Select Search automatically for updated driver software. Restart your laptop.
