Ocelot is a mob added by vanilla Minecraft that spawns naturally in Jungle biomes. It can be tamed and bred using any kind of raw fish, however, the player has to be very careful by taming an ocelot, as it will run away otherwise.

20 paź 2024 · Ocelots approach players holding raw cod or raw salmon within 10 blocks. If the player moves, turns their head too quickly, or stops holding the item while within 6 blocks, the ocelot flees and does not attempt to approach the player again for a few seconds.
I've been working on a mod to add in wild spawning/despawning versions of these mobs, but when I got to Ocelots I saw that the code appears to allow them to despawn if they're untamed. I ran to the wiki and it talked about Ocelot spawning as though they did so continuously, not only once.
