There is a way to get OBSE to launch properly from what I found. Find launcher_settings.cfg (in the content folder) and open it with notepad. Then you just change the Binary Path line to BinaryPath=obse_loader.exe

12 gru 2016 · Every time I try to play it I get the message appearing that Oblivion cannot detect OBSE. I downloaded the latest version of OBSE and dragged the files into my Oblivion folder in Steam\SteamApps\common\Oblivion but still nothing.
I've tried various compatability settings and changed Steam.exe to run as admin, deleted my oblivion.ini and let the game build a new one, all to no success. Just to be certain, I used the obse plugin tester and it confirmed it's not working. Any help or tips, I'm totally at a loss now.
3 lip 2015 · Launch Oblivion via Steam or by running Oblivion.exe. OBSE will automatically be run along with Oblivion when launched. To disable this, rename or move obse_steam_loader.dll.
1 sie 2010 · I uninstalled the game, reinstalled the game, installed the 1.2.0416 patch, Installed the autopatcher, and now, when i run the patch, its saying "Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file updates do not match."
15 kwi 2017 · I've launched through the loader, oblivion exe, and the oblivion launcher and all three have still returned that OBSE isn't properly working. I have also tried reinstalling Oblivion and deleting the .ini files.
