28 lip 2010 · If you are using Win7 and Vista, reinstalling the game outside of the default folder, Program Files, to a custom folder (i.e., C:\Games, or some other folder not default with a Windows install) most mod management-related issues (specific to those two OS) are avoided.
20 lis 2018 · Regardless of whether a mod is already packaged as an .omod file, using Timeslip's Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) is perhaps the easiest way to install mods. It also lets you uninstall mods and all their related files very easily (something that's not always easy to do with mods installed manually).

After the mod has been succesfully activated, you can close OBMM and simply launch oblivion through Steam. Also, you can download the QTP mods through the nexus mod manager without any trouble - if ultimately using OBMM proves to be unsuccesful.
This is a utility for managing plugins, and also for packing them for distribution. It can be used either as an enhanced version of the oblivion launcher's data files selector, or as a more advanced mod manager when mods are specially packed into omod files.
17 maj 2020 · In Mo, disable all .bsa & Mo Management in the Archive Tab. Close Mo and start Oblivion, wait til it crashes. Press (CTRL+ALT+Delete) and open the task manager, end the Oblivion.exe. Reopen Mo, enable all .bsa again and Mo Management and restart the game. Now the textures should be fine.
edit: If you successfully downloaded the mod by using the download manually, you could place it on your Mod Organizer and link a mod to its Nexus website (aka remove the warning sign beside it) by doing the following: - place your mod on the following directory: Oblivion\ModOrganizer\downloads - open Mod Organizer
